An Answer to the Crisis of Black Teen Boys

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
The Rev. Dr. James C. Perkins is founder of the Benjamin E. Mays Male Academy. He has served as senior pastor of Greater Christ Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan for twenty-five years. He has established numerous enterprises that support the Detroit community, including the Fellowship Nonprofit Housing Corporation. Dr. Perkins is the author of Building Up Zion's Walls: Ministry for Empowering the African American Family (Judson Press, 1999).
